With its presence at the most important music fairs in other European countries, FONDATION SUISA offers today’s Swiss and Liechtenstein music making an ideal and inexpensive platform to present itself internationally.
However, the music market has been undergoing fundamental changes for some years now. This also affects the production, distribution and consumption channels to a large extent. This constant change also demands a high degree of flexibility from FONDATION SUISA. The consequence is a permanent evaluation of our performances abroad.
SWISS MUSIC
With this programme, FONDATION SUISA and Pro Helvetia, in partnership with other organisations, are offering Swiss musicians attractive and inexpensive presentation, business and networking platforms at the most important music fairs and showcase festivals – primarily in other European countries. Every year, more than 200 Swiss music professionals and around 30 Swiss showcase acts benefit from the services of the SWISS MUSIC partnerships.
SWISS MUSIC is the joint funding programme of FONDATION SUISA and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, which supports and promotes the Swiss music sector abroad.
